This
page serves two purposes.
1.) To say thank you to the family of my friend and Masonic
Brother, W5OGC, Oliver Meeks, silent key, for giving me Oliver's
HAM equipment so I may continue what he and I started over
28 years ago. Oliver is the main reason for me getting into
HAM radio, at least starting the interest way back in about
1978. He was the contact in Snyder, OK for the Altus Skywarn
weather team we use to rely on for keeping our community safe
during severe storms by giving us timely alerts of dangerous
weather nearby.
2.)
To show some of the equipment fellow Lawton HAMs have helped
me bring home. A special thank you to N5PYU, Kenny, who made
the initial trip with my wife and I to look at the HAM Shack
and see what was available and ended up loading bunches of
cool stuff. |
